Happy Wakings
I love this photo of Emerson. She's so genuinely happy to wake up and just to see you (shouldn't we all wake up like that every day?). Now she sits up in her crib and peeks over the rail while waiting for someone to come and get her. Sometimes I wait a few minutes before going in to her room just to listen to her happy little coos and the babbles to herself. Even though you can't see it in the photo, can't you just picture a huge grin on her face?
