December 2009 (Part 2: Christmas)

Christmas Eve Grandma & Aunt Keely came down. Em was such a joy watching her open gifts (she was funny about taking one present & trying to hide it in a cabinet -- I'm not sure what she was really trying to do). She was so careful about ripping open the gift-wrap, being so careful to open the ends, and taking every single bit of paper off bit by bit.



We went to our church for the Christmas Eve service & wrapped up the night by letting Em open her stocking, which had some board books & ornaments for the tree.

Ready for bed after a full day...

Christmas morning...



Then we had Christmas with Todd's family. Em was a little shy with Haley at first, but they quickly warmed up to each & ended up being so silly together.
