We tried to give Emerson rice cereal for the first time on Saturday. She's been so intently watching us as we eat, that we figured it was probably time for her to experience "eating" for herself. So we set up the high chair, got a bib and spoon out, and prepared her food. She loved holding the spoon herself, but hated the food. It was hilarious. It was like she was so torn between wanting to hold the spoon and put it her mouth, but she hated the taste. It did make for some great moments.
On the positive side, she did seem to really enjoy sitting in her high chair. Although, she looked so tiny in it.
