Beach Babe

We spent the afternoon being lazy in South Haven. We packed Emerson (and all her gear) up and drove over to the lake. We spent a couple of hours hanging out (in the shade of course) along the pier watching the boats go by. Emerson did very well and seemed to enjoy being outdoors. We had a very leisurely day...

Emerson was very focused on the beach chair and liked holding on to the metal bars of the chair. Maybe we didn't need to go to South Haven, but rather, could have just set the chair up in our living room?

She was so tired and immediately fell hard asleep in the car on the way home...

A few days later...

I couldn't resist taking this photo of her. I loved the way her one little finger was resting on her cheek.

Later, she fell asleep so hard on Todd. Just before this picture she had her head turned the other way, so now her hair is sticking straight out and has "sleep lines" on her face.

Emerson started sitting up on her own (with support) and loved it!
