Visiting the Pumpkin Man

One of the best places to get a pumpkin in this area is to go to Gene the Pumpkin Man's farm. He's been selling pumpkins for over 50 years and everything is orange! Sunday was actually fairly decent with temps close to 60 and a little bit of sun. Emerson really enjoyed just being outside and able to run around... actually, we all really enjoyed being outdoors.

She tried to pick up many of the pumpkins and was very happy to discover the bins of little pumpkins that she could carry.

We carefully walked through all the paths full of pumpkins searching for the ones that were just right and loaded them up in a wagon. Em wanted to help... first she tried pulling from the front, but that didn't seem to work. So, then she tried pushing from the back. I love her little lip sticking out as she is concentrating very hard.

We had to end up switching to a larger wagon so Em could sit inside. She was so thrilled to be sitting in the wagon with all the pumpkins that we had to make another loop through the pumpkin patch to give her move time in the wagon.

I love the look on her little face in this one as the wagon began to move...

Check out Em with her feet up on the pumpkins while she's riding...
