Happy Easter!

"A happy and glorious Easter will this one be to all of us who get
a new vision of the risen Jesus, and cast ourselves in humble adoration at
His feet to cry out, 'Rabboni! Rabboni!' Then shall we set out hearts on
things above...and know more of what it is to live by Christ, in Christ, for
Christ, and with Christ until we reach the marvelous light around the throne
in glory." (L.Cuyler)
We had a lovely Easter and weekend. Everyone was healthy and the weather was better than expected. Emerson seemed to like being dressed up and had fun digging through her little Easter basket.

This is really the first time looking back over the past year that I have an event to compare back to. It was Easter one year ago that we first really went out with Emerson (other than the doctor's office, which doesn't really count). I was so nervous bringing Emerson to church and worried how we would handle any crying or feeding or other baby noises/issues during the service. Em did great and we were so happy to have successfully had our first outing as a new family. She was SO tiny that her Easter outfit was way too big for her (she kind of looked like she was wearing a lampshade). I had sent Todd all over to find tights to cover her legs (since it was March & cold!) and they were enormous on her, but we used them anyway, droopy legs and all!

Here's Em on Easter at 6 weeks & 13 months...
